200 Tulane Student Volunteers are coming to help Pontchartrain Park! Help direct a small group of students to a complete a task, or be present to offer provided supplies, water, and snacks.

About the event
Join us for a volunteer clean up day! August 24th from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church
We need help managing 200 Tulane student volunteers! Please arrive at 8:30 AM.
Groups will split up, and direct the students to complete different tasks throughout the neighborhood.
We can help direct students to clear catch basins, beautify the gardens at the entrance signs. Students can complete yard work for elder residents who have tools and equipment to use on property.
Snacks, water, gloves, trash bags, shovels and trash grabbers will be provided.
Member volunteers may drive around in their vehicles assisting volunteers with snacks, water, supplies, security, and direction. Trucks are highly recommended if you have access. Shovels and rakes can get muddy. Trucks can be useful to transport full garbage bags to pick up location and students back to base camp.
