Sybil Gayle Haydel Morial
1932 - September 4, 2024
We give our hearts out to the friends and family of Sybil Morial. Her focus, actions, and dedication to friends, family, civil rights and equality will forever positively impact the City of New Orleans and these United States. She paved the way and her legacy will live on through the lives that she has touched. Her strength and infinite love will remain as a guiding light for hope, peace, and prosperity.

Mrs. Charlotte Virginia Goodlow St. Cyr was 90 years old and a "Pioneer" Pontchartrain Park resident from Mithra Street. Mrs. St. Cyr relocated to Tampa after Hurrican Katrina. She will be greatly missed.
Pontchartrain Park neighborhood Association is sending our heartfelt sympathy to her children, Lari, Byron, mark, Alyssa, Cheryl, nephew Oliver and the entire St. Cyr family.

Mrs. Anna May Pierce Barnes
June 18, 1931 - August 16, 2024
Anna Mae Pierce Barnes, age 93, of New Orleans, LA departed this earthly home on Friday, August 16, 2024. She was born on June 18, 1931, in New Orleans, LA. Anna is survived by her loving children, Mildred B. Williams, Anthony, Danny, Brian Barnes, and Deborah B. Abunaser (Saed); beloved brother, Leonard Pierce; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Pontchartrain Park neighborhood Association sends its deepest condolences to the Barnes Family and friends.
